This clip is from the television show, THE WIRE. This clip represents what the Grand Council of Guardians has been fighting for since Mayor David Dinkins left office in New York City. We believe community policing works and that by having beat officers on the street the relationship between law enforcement officers and the community will improve.

Community policing or neighbourhood policing is a strategy and philosophy based on the notion that community interaction and support can help control crime, with community members helping to identify suspects, detain vandals and bring problems to the attention of police.
