I have had quite a few people ask me just exactly how I get into a 10ft Transformers Optimus Prime costume. I figured I should upload this video and let everyone see. Due to the size of the Optimus Prime costume, I sometimes feel like a scarecrow trapped in an Autobot. The Optimus Prime costume is not incredibly comfortable to wear, but the reaction on the faces of people in the crowd is well worth it.

A couple months early but this is one of the coolest Halloween costumes I've seen. I hope they come out with a version to transform my date into Megan Fox.

Today Rob brings you some fresh Halloween costume ideas as well as some tips on costumes to avoid

I made this for my Mini-Pinscher for Halloween as he has about the same size and profile as an AT-AT. It is made out of picture backing board, hot glue, a sharpie, pillow stuffing, and my skin (I used a real scalpel to cut it out, plus the hot glue took a chunk of skin off as well).

This costume is a well-thought-out peice of work. It's obvious that it's based upon the Transformers, but just watch him transform... :)

2009 Best Halloween Costume EVER! CRAZY! transformer way cool!

This is Neville wearing his requested "Thanatos" mech costume made of cardboard and toilet paper rolls and spray paint. That's several evenings of cutting, gluing and spray painting (*cough cough*) in the basement. He's practicing walking before we head out to score candy. They were a huge hit and reasonably robust costumes, except Nev had a knee blow out requiring a repair crew with white glue and duct tape.
