This is the lake at Alvaston Park in the City of Derby, Derbyshire, England. A popular place for people to come and feed the large quantity birds. This is a Time-Lapse film I created in Spring 2006 using a dash mounted camera. This film is made from 1108 individual photographs, each image was 1024x768 and I have reduced the resolution to 320x240 for the film. The actual duration of this car journey was 20 minutes!. Lock near Derby, with a rise & fall of 12 foot 2 inches, the lock is one of the deepest, if not the deepest on the Trent and Mersey Canal.
