In this finale from the musical "Planet Patrol", the cast reminds the audience to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. This musical was first performed in 1992 by my third grade class as a culminating activity following a unit on ecology.

This video was prepared in 2003 in celebration of the Media Ecology Association's 5th Anniversary, and contains a special tribute to Neil Postman, who was the Guest of Honor at the event, which was held on September 4, 2003 at Fordham University (one month before he passed away). While celebratory in nature, the video also serves as a good introduction to the media ecology perspective, and Neil Postman's specific approach to the study of media as environments.
