Greenpeace Leader Admits Arctic Ice Exaggeration
Gerd Leipold, the outgoing leader of Greenpeace, admitted that his organization's recent claim that the Arctic Ice will disappear by 2030 was "a mistake." Greenpeace said in a July 15 press release that there will be an ice-free Arctic by 2030 because of global warming. BBC reporter Stephen Sackur on the "Hardtalk" program pressed Leipold until he admitted the claim was wrong. |

Have a look at it from a different angle. The camera on board the Japanese whaling ship is moving with the ship and gives a distorted view. Coincidence that this happened previously in 1994 with the same whaling ship? Lloyds listed the collision as being the fault of the Japanese whaling ship. |

www.greenpeace.org The Greenpeace blockade began at 8 am Tuesday 15 September 2009 when 25 activists went into the Shell mine located in the tar sands development in northern Alberta, Canada. They blockaded a giant shovel and two giant trucks. At one point the whole mining operation was shut down in response to the Greenpeace blockade. The activists stayed for more than 30 hours to focus attention on the urgent need for action on climate change. |
