Personally, I think it's a thought that rolls regularly through most Kailua folks minds and I think it's ok to share. Kailua Beach Park celebrates the forth of July with the annual Kailua Parade and a fireworks show. The parade features community groups and bands moving down Kainalu Drive, from 10am-12pm. The fireworks begin around 8pm and can be viewed from Kailua Beach

The 2009 Kailua Fireworks were shot off a barge out in Kailua Bay. My Sony & I were on shore down at Kalamas. This year's show was probably the best ever! This is an edited version.
