30777 Sir Lamiel hauled a Cathedrals Express Carol Special train to Sherborne on December 18th. With authentic coloured stock and route, it could be the late fifties as the train passes Hazeldon, with only a RAF Tornado out on live ammunition attack manouvers over Salisbury Plain, giving evidence that this is the 21st century. Later, after servicing at Yeovil Junction, we see 30777 at Sherborne at night, picking up passengers from the carol service.

After a long struggle, 30777 finally finds it's footing on Honiton Bank, much to the relief of the footplate crew. Despite slipping on the level over the crossing at Pinhoe, 30777 makes a sure start out of Exeter St Davids into the sidings.

After filming the duchess i waited for the light movement of Sir Lamiel from Carnforth to Southall. It came in around 11.30 and took on water. It left around 12.30. it was a busy day and I have got another vid of the same day to come with choppers and other locos I would run well over the 10 minutes so had to decide to do sir lamiel on its own.

SR N15 'King Arthur' Class 30777 Sir Lamiel hauls Steam Dream's Cathedrals Express Carols Concert special, from London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction and return. The North British-built loco makes its way up Tisbury 15 mins late of schedule.
