A ride aboard Winnipeg Transit 1988 MCI - Motor Coach Industries "Classic" #321 on route 22 powered by the Detroit Diesel 6V71N engine and the Allison V731 transmission. Only 34 of these were purchased by Winnipeg Transit and were aquired in 1988 as #'s 301-334 and were some of the last MCI Classics to be delivered with the Detroit Diesel 6V71N engines - if not THE last ones.

This bus is a 2000 but in service since 1999 (october) It has almost a million miles on it. It has the allison B-500 transmission which I purposely showed in the video while the bus was running. I drove it yesterday just for the day, it is not my favorite bus. It is a temporary loaner direct from MCI. I made this video mainly to show how the rear tag axle turns with the front wheels on the E-4500.The J4500 does not do that. This greatly improves the turning radius.
