Brian Lynch (Will Shakespeare) is permitted to break character during Pub Sing, in order to pop the question to his lady love, Amber Adeline Brown, at the New York Renaissance Faire on Monday, 7 September 2009. This is followed by the final song of the day, "Wild Mountain Thyme," as sung by the cast and crowd, and the Queen's recessional. Congratulations, Brian and Amber. May your future be twice as bright as the light you bring those of us who treasure you.

The Crimson Pirates lead the crowd in "A Sailor's Prayer" at the New York Renaissance Faire on 2 September 2007. To the uninitiated: the fool-on-a-stick is Horatio, friend to Yorick the Jester, who had been ruthlessly kidnapped earlier in the day by the Guards in the employ of Phillip de Marque, the Sheriff of Nottingham. Alas, other villagers had subsequently re-stolen poor Horatio, and here he is seen in the sly hands of playwright Christopher Marlowe.
