This is Troop 241 shark fishing at Florida Seabase OutIsland Adventure on Big Munson Island in the Florida Keys. If you don't think scouts have great fun in the program, think again!

Megaman games always have awesome music. I thought it might be fun to try Bubble Crab's theme from Megaman X2 It's also Duff McWhalen's theme from Megaman X 5, who is also known as Tidal Makkoeen. Don't forget to watch the video.

The concept of the building was to take visitors under the ocean to 'Sea Base Alpha'. Visitors would watch a short movie then take a simulated elevator ride to the ocean floor via a 'Hydrolator.' Guests then would ride the Caribbean Coral Reef Ride in a "seacab" along an underwater tunnel through the aquarium. From there guests would ride around 'Sea Base Alpha' getting an up-close view of the marine life. They would then disembark into the main exhibit area where they could interact with ...

Just some pics and videos to remeber the trip by. Sea base is the ultimate high adventure place that a boyscout can goto. I have been there twice and had the time of my life both times.

A crew from BSA Troop 429 in Alpharetta Georgia spends a week diving at Florida High Adventure Sea Base with divemasters Scruff McGruff and Wild Bill Murry the week of June 1-7 2009. The dive shots are from several dives on Alagator, Victory, Pillars, Ham, Davis or Independance reefs. Crew members Dale, Ben, Eric, Kenny, Carl, Drew, Calvin, Tammy, Dan, Harrison, Kyle, Jeff and Dave all had a wonderful time.

These are some of the prettier fish at Bonneville Seabase, Utah. This is where I live. I get to watch these beautiful fish every morning at feeding time. You can snorkel or scuba with these fish. BRING ROMAINE!

Weeks or months from home. Long periods at sea. You'd need alot of oil. When needed oil can be loaded at sea. A British Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship RFA Black Rover is supplying the fuel.

Two years of planning and training, AWAC Boy Scouts embarked on a two week adventure. One week was spent in travel while the second week we lived aboard the Conch Pearl, scuba diving on the reefs around the Keys and learning about animals of the Keys and life on a schooner.

Troop 56 of Collierville TN go snorkeling at the Munson Rocks in Newfoundland Harbor just outside of Big Munson Island. Barracuda and other exotic reef fish are observed during the dive. Boy Scout Troop 56 then arrives safely in their war canoes and see Key Deer and Vaca Coons.

Troop 11's August 2008 Seabase Trip

This is Sean and I scuba diving at Bonneville Seabase in Utah. We were petting an 8 foot Nurse shark. Sweet times!

The Section C-1B officers had to attend the annual Central Region SOS, but this year the region chose to hold the event at the Florida Seabase in Islamorada Florida in the Florida Keys. Of course there was nothing but meetings all day. Here is a clip from a meeting with the pelicans and the Tarpons where we try to feed fish to Tarpons while being rudely interrupted by swarms of Pelican at Robbie's Boat Rentals in the florida keys.

DiveQuest at Epcot allows scuba divers to live the ultimate diving experience. DiveQuest takes place daily in the Living Sea pavilion and allows certified scuba divers to dive in the Living Seas coral reef accompanied by a Disney diver.

Collierville Boy Scout Troop 56 attended the BSA Seabase High Adventure Camp from June 1 - June 7 2008. They participated in the Out Island Adventure at Big Munson Island. This video chronicles BS Troop 56 on their arrival at the Brinton Center, and their journey on the War Canoes through NewFoundland Harbor (Big Munson Harbor). Several crews were lucky enough to be paddling near dolphins during their trip.
