This traction lift travels from the cliff top to the sea front. Motor room is on the ground floor (see end of movie). Lucky I filmed this when I did, as the next day it was out of service! Filmed whilst on holiday at the beach. When I noticed this lift, I had to check it out! Looks like quite a landmark.

You see them arrive and pay their entry fee of £1 which goes to charities as the event is organised by BMAD (Bikers Make A Difference). Torbay Mods spot Stan (another club member) and have to leave and go back in again to join him parked further up the sea front! Not quite Quadrophenia but backing music is by the Who!
