JH from Dirty Hospital skips lunch to batter down a version of 'The Chase'. The Mac is firing out MIDI clock to the Kenton Pro 2, which is sending arpeggio clock to the Roland SH-101 and DIN sync to the Roland MC-202. The Roland TR-606 is taking sync from the 202. The fat "jump" analog Oberheim OBXa synth and the small but also great sounding analog SH 101 together. I have used the sequencer of the SH 101 that was triggered by the TR 606 and the OBXa was played in split mode. This recording was made with a small pocket camera.

I made this the day I bought the Jomox XBase 999 just as a test to see if I could get it playing in time with the Machinedrum and the SH101.

First night with Jason's shiney new red SH-101, being sequenced by a Schrittmacher and sync alongside a JoMoX TokTok XBase09se. Crappy camera mic disclaimer, and the 'it was 4 am and we were sleepy lazy' disclaimer. But...if you just HAVE to know how the SH-101's filters sound, this is a nice little jam session, if not a little extended.

We're using the sequencer from the classic Roland SH-101 to play the Cwejman VM-1 Voice Module / Multimode Filter. The VM-1 is an incredible module that contains a versatile Cwejman oscillator as well as Cwejman's renowned Multimode filter. Unlike the MMF-1 the VM-1 gives you the "Mode Morph" knob which allows you to sweep through the different filter modes. These include low, band, and highpass. You also have the ability to fade between filtering the oscillator and an external audio source ...

i just finished building this soundlab kit from musicfromouterspace.com. i used an SH-101 to sequence it.

*** ADD "&fmt=18" to video url for STEREO SOUND!!! *** Just a little improvisation (Vangelis style...) with my two analog monophonic synths: Minimoog Model D and Roland SH-101 I also used an Ibanez AD-100 Analog Delay and a Nord Modular G2 for Reverb FX. It's amazing what it's possible to do with only 2 voices of poliphony and with no keyboard velocity: just envelopes and filters...

A fellow member of VintageSynth.com was having some issues controlling his 101 from his 303. I thought I'd give it a shot on my end. I'm not real crazy about the 101's sound, so I also tried the Korg MonoPoly as well. Sorry about the pause as I switch connectors and instruments.
