Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the New Zealand South Island. Part 1 (of 2 parts) was filmed in March 2008, and starts as we arrive at the interislander ferry terminal in Wellington and sail to the South Island. It shows the highlights of the drive via Nelson down the West Coast to Franz Josef Glacier. Part 2 shows the rest of the journey.

Filmed in March 2008, Part 2 of our New Zealand South Island Holiday covers the journey from Franz Josef to Fox Glacier then through Haast Pass (where dozens of waterfalls cascade down the mountain sides) to Wanaka and across to Christchurch then north up the East Coast to Picton. The Ohau Point Fur Seal colony is a great place for the photographer as the juvenile seals frolic in the rock pools under the supervision of their mothers.
