Researchers at Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) have documented a rare male North American wolverine (Gulo gulo) on SPIs managed forest lands in the Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains. Trout fishing our way north on Highway 395 to the Truckee river. On the way we stop and fish Lone Pine Creek, Owens River, West Walker river, and some Mystery Creek. We ended up at the Truckee River for Some great Trout Fishing.

This is the last in a five part series showing a tourist railroad train from the Virginia and Truckee Railroad. On July 5 and 6, 2008, the newly returned #29 steam locomotive led the passenger train on the new track built by the Nevada State Commission for the Reconstruction of the Virginia and Truckee Railway. This video shows the first steam train ever to run revenue service on the new tracks past Gold Hill, Nevada.

Set To High Quality Taken: 06/10/2009 Amtrak 134 limbs into Truckee with an over 2 & 1/2 hour late westbound California Zephyr. The 134 continually poped its safety, and that is what you hear as the air leaking out. The crew was finally able to devise some way to fix it (with the air problem still there), and the train highballed with the stop at Truckee adding 26 minutes on.
