More at www.theuptake.org. The campaign of US Sen. Norm Coleman held a press conference today, but UpTake camperas were once again denied access by the Coleman campaign. When asked as to why The UpTake was barred, a campaign staffer replied "I don't have time for this" despite having just completed a lengthy conversation about college basketball with members of the media who apparently met the campaigns requirements.

The UpTake's volunteer coordinator Suzanne was shooting video of a police-protester confrontation when she got caught up in the melée and was arrested. The UpTake is working to find out more information and get her released, but it has proven difficult.

UpTake Senior Political Correspondent caught up with by Senator Al Franken (D-MN) in a one on one interview conducted in his office in Washington DC. Senator Franken reflects on Sonia Sotomayor's confirmation to the US Supreme Court, comments on net neutrality, criticizes conservative opposition to "activist judges" and discusses opportunities for cutting health care costs. Filmed on July 17th, 2009.
