Hawaii - Big Island Hilton Waikoloa Village

It was a clear day w/some thunder as it got louder took the truck out did some 4-wheelin....It was bone dry then in a minute you could here it comming and then you saw it and and you feel it all around you. A 5 feet tall wall of water comming towards you. This big chocolate wave, then what happens next you will see. This is one of the driest part of the island where 7-10 inches of rain all year! When it comes, it comes down hard. This area is all jagged lava rocks too under the tall brush....

We received a surprise upgrade to a suite at the Hilton Waikoloa Village this week. The room, on Hawaii's Big Island, has 5 balconies!

Sorry the vid isn't the greatest - my little camera is pretty good, but taking video at twilight is not its strength. But, we had a good time, especially with the ladies who shared our table (loads of fun!). At luaus go, I'd give the Marriott's a "B" - but then, I'm incredibly picky, AND have been to some of the best luaus on the islands. So, it's worthwhile going, but there are better ones...

We were driving to a friend's condo and I filmed this. It's one of my favorite drives on the Big Island. It's beautiful. It's on the way to the Hilton Waikoloa, and you pass the King and Queen Shoppes. It's breathtaking.

Fans at the Earth, Wind and Fire concert Live at the Waikoloa Bowl scream for a HANA HOU! They are answered with "That's The Way Of The World". They put on a great show!
