Yosemite National Park (pronounced /joʊˈsɛmɨtiː/ yo-SEM-it-ee) is a national park located in the eastern portions of Tuolumne, Mariposa and Madera counties in east central California, United States. The park covers an area of 761266 acres or 1189 square miles (3081 km²) and reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain. I went on a trip to Yosemite Park in 2002. Yosemite Park is very close to the border between California and Nevada, and close to Area 51. In the evening, on my way out of the park, I was driving down a winding road, when I saw a small ball of light high up in the sky, with a large halo of light surrounding it, and a long twirled trail behind it. I video taped it for a few seconds, and then I grapped my camera to take some photos as well, in case the video camera didn't capture it well enough ...

Chief Tenaya, who was born at Mono Lake, took several hundred of our people to live in Yosemite. We spent a whole week climbing in Yosemite National Park. On our last planned day in the park, we suffered our third fall (ironically on a single-pitch climb), but with this one injuries were incurred. The lead suffered severe bruising on the leg and pelvis and severe bruising on the 6th and 7th vertebrae.
