I had a good view of the fire from my bedroom window so I began to film it from the first day. I had my police scanner tuned to listen in on the aircraft that were bombarding the flames.

Rootdown and myself head to Yucaipa to put on a show.

So I heard the helicopters flying right over the top of my house. When I went outside, I saw the plumes of smoke rising up into the air. Brought out were several fire trucks and engines, animal control with animal carrier trailer, and several patrol officers. They set up a staging area in Oak Glen and routed non trailer pulling vehicles thru potatoe canyon road. Residents in the area were evacuated, and those residents who were not home were not allowed back into the area. All afternoon ...

YHS Varsity Cheer took first place at the 12/02/07 USA Competition in La Quinta.

We were making a trip from Arizona to California and decided to pay a visit to the infamous "Watchers" - Youtube Phenomena. They are an old man and a 30 year old(ish) guy who live together and are CONSTANTLY looking out their windows and always have a video camera recording out their window. Drive by slowly and they will immediately walk outside and shine flashlights on you and chase you down. Turns out they exist. Too funny.

It keeps bursting upwards like a huge pumpkin in the night. You can even see the flames licking up into the night.

Okay, so in Yucaipa, theres this house of people who are commonly known as The Watchers. Basically, theyre a paranoid family that never leaves their house, and watches their house 24/7. There is always someone in the front window with a video camera, and if you stop in front of their house, someone will come out with a flashlight or whatever. Its extremely disturbing, obviously, and rather creepy, and Yucaipa kids are obsessed with them. Theyre like a legend, basically. Seriously. I know ...

Apparently this is a new fire that started today called the Pendleton fire. Its still in Yucaipa but it is a second fire. The Oak Glen fire is a separate fire. Check out the moon in this video.
