Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity also known as Bermuda Cathedral is located in Hamilton, Bermuda. The original building of Cathedral was designed by James Cranston and was completed in 1869. In 1844, the building was destroyed due to fire and was rebuilt by Scottish architect William Hay. The present architecture of the building represents Gothic Revival Style. The structure of the building was completely made from Bermuda limestone, while the decorative features were added from carved Caen Stone that were brought from France.
The main features of the church are its magnificent arches, warrior chapel, tinted glass windows and altar screens that are craved beautifully. The wall behind the altar consists of sculptures that depict several stages of life of Christ and many other saints. In 1844, the first cornerstone of the church was laid. It includes a tower, which is 143 feet high from where from several scenic views can be seen, such the Bermuda’s shore to the north, the city hall to the west and Hamilton city to the south.
