The San Blas Islands is located nearby the Caribbean coast of Eastern Panama. The Island is the cluster of over 378 islands and cays of which only 49 are occupied. The area surround the island is popular of sailing and other outdoor activities.
Inhabited Island is Yandup Island, El Porvenir, Aguja Island, Guanidup Island, Chichimei, etc. San Blas houses tribe of Kuna Indians, natives of Colombia and Panama. The island is still undiscovered because the tourism Industry is in the control of Kana’s tribe. The people of the tribe mainly focuses on protecting and conserving there old customs in the changing world.
The place is famous for its local arts and crafts, the mola. Female member of the family make colored fabrics, depicting various images of birds, fish, animals, geometric designs, etc.
