The palace of Peace and Reconciliation also known as Pyramid of Peace and Accord located in Astana, Kazakhstan. The building was designed by Foster and Partners who were the lead designer and was opened in 2006. It consists of pyramid portion that is 62 meter high lying on the 15-meter block. Turkish architectural team undertook the foster design.
The structure of the building comprises of five storey in triangle shape each of 12 meter on side. The lower level of the palace is made of concrete and the pyramids are made up of steel. It is designed in a way that it can withstand compression and expansion due to various in climatic condition. The pyramids were created with an aim to host Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religion. It includes accommodation for religions such as Islam, Christianity, Hinduisim, Daoism and Buddhisim. Not only this it contains national museum of culture ,a library, opera house, research centre for various groups and hence considered as global center for religious unification from all over the world known as pyramid of peace. It is consists of pale blue and golden colored glass windows.
