Arriba“We’re so excited to be open and ready to introduce the island to something new and unique,” said managing partner Richard Rennie. “It was important to us that we take our time to get everything just right before we opened the doors. We’ve fine-tuned the restaurant so it exceeds our expectations and the food is amazing. Our guests are going to find something very special at Café Havana and I couldn’t be happier.”

Café Havana Guam is also pleased to be introducing the new house band, Arriba, direct from Manila. Like her sister restaurants in the Philippines, Café Havana Guam will feature live music in the evenings and have more of a nightclub atmosphere in the after dinner hours. Arriba is a lively six piece band that plays a wide repertoire of Latin and Pop hits that will keep your feet tapping and your hips swaying all night long. Arriba begins playing after dinner at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday – Saturday and keeps the energy sizzling hot all night long. From salsa and cha cha to modern pop hits, Arriba will to keep you on the dance floor having the time of your life at Café Havana Guam.

Café Havana“This band is excellent,” said Rennie, “I’ve been listening to their CD and have seen them play live at Café Havana Makati and Malate and they’re really good. I think the Guam audience is really going to like them, they play a lot of the dance tunes that we enjoy here, the kind of stuff that gets an audience on its feet and out on the floor.”

With the menu tweaked to perfection and the band waiting in the wings ready to play, there is nothing to stop Café Havana Guam from quickly becoming the island’s newest hot spot. Conveniently located in the Hyatt Regency Guam and featuring covered parking, Café Havana is now open.
