Wales: Putting sheep pooh to good use

Planning a visit to Wales? You don’t want to miss this truly quirky attraction.

Here’s a wonderful suggestion for the sheep fancier – a visit to Aberllefenni Creative Paper Wales – a flat-out quirky shop where they make paper from sheep pooh.

Why?

Well, why not?

What else could you find in greater abundance in Wales?  A brilliant business idea, the owners are not only ecologically enthusiastic about their craft which involves collecting, washing and pressing the fibres from sheep poop into paper products such as cards and – strangely enough – room fresheners, but they’re also incredibly, wickedly entertaining.

While one, formerly an international affairs lawyer whose witty charm is a blend of Mick Jagger and Jamie Oliver explains how his daughter got into Oxford by telling the recruiter that she has spent her summer ‘stirring sheep s#$%,’ his partner will show you the kayak made from sheep pooh paper the two are planning to paddle in a long-distance race.  It’s too hilarious to miss and could well be the highpoint of your sheepishly wonderful tour of Wales.

Find out more or buy some of your very own sheep pooh paper online: www.creativepaperwales.co.uk.
