Get away to Almond Beach Club & Spa in Barbados for adults-only and spa retreats
Small, intimate, adults-only. Unlike the other Almond Beach Resort properties and resorts throughout Barbados, the Almond Beach Club & Spa is small and intimate. With only 161 rooms that are for adults-only (16+), you won’t have to deal with screaming kids or a 10-minute journey back to your hotel room.
Spa retreats. As one of the only Almond properties with an on-site spa, The Almond Beach Club & Spa is great for a spa getaway. The spa offers massages, hydrotherapy, body treatments, facials for men and women, waxing, and more. The changerooms are clean and quaint and they also offer saunas and steam rooms for maximal relaxation.
On the beach – sort of. Crowding isn’t a problem with the three pools available to guests. Although it’s called a beach club – the ‘beach’ is actually located on a raised rocky platform above the water. When the waves are calm, guests reach the water for a swim or to take part in water sports by climbing down a small ladder.
Home to the original Tommy and Tommy’s Rum Shop. Rum expert and mixologist, Tommy Gibson, has been serving and concocting Caribbean cocktails for guests at the Beach Club and around the world for over 30 years. In fact, he’s even served the Queen of England. Best of all, Tommy’s got all the flair of a great barman – so his rum shop is worth a visit – and be sure to give his homeade spiced rum a try.
Enid’s Restaurant for fine Caribbean flavours. Booked to capacity nearly every night, Enid’s Restaurant at Almond Beach Club & Spa offers traditional Caribbean cuisine and flavours in a casual restaurant setting. Don’t miss out on a free cooking demonstration from Enid’s staff during the day.
