Now, VisitDenmark proudly announces the launch of its new LGBT campaign -“cOPENhagen – Open For Everyone” – which highlights and celebrates the welcoming and diverse atmosphere of Copenhagen, Denmark‘s capital city. In 1948, the National Association for Gays and Lesbians (LBL), as a first-of-its-kind, was founded in Denmark and in 1989 the country became the first in the world to recognize marriage between two persons of the same sex.
