3 Nagas offers Excellent Location & Beauty in Laos

Restored in 2003, this Laos hotel blends contemporary style with the buildings’ original architecture, seamlessly connecting the past and the present. It is a beautiful building that has clearly been restored with a loving hand, which shows in every little detail. The entire place is quiet, peaceful and charming.

3 Nagas is also in a premiere location for a stay in Luang Prabang – ideally located in the Old Quarter, within walking distance to virtually everything in town. They also have bicycles available for guest use. This is perfect, and what we did on our stay; Luang Prabang is a highly bikable town, and this offered a thoroughly enjoyable way to experience it. The location of 3 Nagas is also on a main street, where the monks process each morning at dawn to collect their daily alms. You can watch this procession from your balcony (of many rooms) or the hotel courtyard, which offers a bit less tourist intrusion as a way to enjoy this magical experience.

But despite being on a main road, there is very little noise. Luang Prabang is by nature a very quiet, peaceful and laid-back city – which of course, is part of its charm.

Embark on a timeless cultural journey of discovery amid the hotel’s warm and inviting ambience, in the luxury of its exclusive collection of spacious Rooms and Suites, and in its authentic Lao cuisine – offering some of the finest destination dining in Luang Prabang.

High ceilings, exotic dark wooden floors, four-poster beds, silk fabrics and traditional weavings ooze elegance, style and character. A beautiful courtyard garden beside the Nam Khan River plus an acclaimed fine dining restaurant, serving exquisite Laotian food, make our Luang Prabang hotel the perfect place to relax and enjoy the serene Lao lifestyle.

Simplicity reigns, with elegant touches and attention to the smallest of details that add to the unique charm of this boutique hotel in Laos.

There is a sense of intimacy here with just 15 rooms and suites located in two separate houses. Eight rooms are located in The Khamboua House, a jewel of traditional Lao architecture. Built in 1903, it opens onto a beautiful 500-square-metre garden edging the Nam Khan River.

Here you can relax and enjoy glimpses of the serene Lao lifestyle. The other seven rooms are located in The Lamache House, built originally in 1898 to host the then royal family, and converted into an ice-cream factory in the 1930s.

Following recent restoration, its heritage has been thoughtfully preserved through the use of traditional materials and construction techniques, working in harmony with 21st century comforts to create a uniquely stylish and relaxing environment in our luxury hotel in Laos.

All guest rooms feature a stylish bathroom, king-size bed and sofa, and open onto a spacious private terrace or verandah overlooking the street or garden – a favoured place for observing daily life unfold over a leisurely breakfast or afternoon tea. Guests in the three elegant suites will enjoy space on a grander scale, with the largest suite featuring a private entrance hall, exquisite bathroom and spacious living and dining areas. And with wireless Internet access in every room, you can stay connected even as you relish the tranquility of your surroundings.

From humble dishes to chef’s specialties, feast on Lao cuisine in all of its earthy authenticity, presented with a touch of French flair. Renowned for its authentic Laotian cuisine that has been hailed far and wide, Les 3 Nagas restaurant in Luang Prabang serves sumptuous lunch and dinner. Its exceptional food brings non-guest visitors and residents of Luang Prabang alike, and earned a glowing review in the New York Times online in 2007.

An onsite boutique and two really cool antique cars, available to take you around town, complete the offerings of the elegant, gracious 3 Nagas.
