For many living in downtown Toronto, Porter Airlines located at Toronto City Centre airport is a great alternative to the oversized and overwhelming Pearson Airport in the city’s westend. Porter offers convenient and quick flights to and from Ottawa, Halifax, Tremblant, and now Newark.
Their prices aren’t too bad, either!

More On Porter Airlines
High frequency service, convenience, a simple fare structure, and outstanding service is what Porter Airlines hopes to emphasize in their business. Don Carty, chairman of Porter Airlines notes, “We recognized a need for time-sensitive urban travellers to move quickly and comfortably between the New York City metro area and downtown Toronto and are now acting to fulfill that need.”
To get to the Toronto City Centre Airport, shuttles are available for Union Station which is at the heart of Toronto’s financial and entertainment district, as well as TTC and GO Train terminals. Newark airport is located in New Jersey and is 15 miles south west of New York City, an approximately $40 cab ride to Manhattan.
